    Virtual Information Sessions

Join us for a virtual information session to learn more about the Next Steps program at Vanderbilt University. These sessions are designed to introduce prospective students and their families to the program and provide information about Next Steps, including academic and campus programming, eligibility requirements, financial aid options, and other key aspects of the student experience. Information sessions are offered throughout the year.

    PreVU day

During this Vanderbilt University hosted event, prospective students, families, and guests will participate in an admissions workshop designed to help you strengthen your Next Steps at Vanderbilt application, hear from current students about life at VU, tour campus and more.

    College Night

During College Night, prospective students and families will get an in-depth overview of the different aspects of our program including academics, campus life, career development and apprenticeships. College Night is recommended for prospective students applying in the upcoming admissions cycle.

    Tours and Individual Visits

Campus tours are offered through Vanderbilt's Undergraduate Admissions Office. If you are interested in a tour, please schedule directly through this office here.

After scheduling a tour, reach out to nextsteps@vanderbilt.edu to schedule a brief meeting with a member of the Next Steps staff while you are on campus, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

    School and Classroom Visits

Our On-Campus Classroom Tour and Information Sessions are designed to provide prospective students with an overview of the Next Steps at Vanderbilt program and a glimpse into Vanderbilt’s campus. During this visit, participants will take an abbreviated campus tour and attend an information session led by Next Steps at Vanderbilt staff.

This experience is tailored for students in their junior and senior years of high school, as well as individuals enrolled in transition programs who are exploring inclusive postsecondary educational opportunities.

Teachers and transition program staff who wish to bring a class or student group must register their classroom in advance.
